Every character created starts out at D rank with the ability to move forward at whatever pace they desire.  There are rules and things that you must undergo before ranking up to a new rank.

D rank characters are the lowest characters on the chain.  They are just getting into the academy, and though they may be talented, they are clumsy and aloof.  They tend to have bad decision making skills and are at their lowest point of training.  D rank characters take on the least dangerous of missions and get paid the least for their duties.  There are not many higher ranking characters who would like to take these characters under their wing, though if they do, it must mean the D rank has potential.

Techniques: 5 D-Rank

C rank characters are slowly starting to get the hang of their quirk.  They have been a part of the academy for a bit and have begun getting stronger and mastering their techniques under the watchful eye of their teachers.  Higher ranking characters and mentors are more likely to begin looking for students to take under their wing in this rank.  C rank characters can begin taking more dangerous missions and get paid a bit more.  C rank characters are allowed to take on B rank missions as long as they have a B rank character along with them.

Techniques: 5 D-Rank, 5 C-Rank, 1 B-Rank

Needed to Rank Up: In order to rank from D to C rank, one must have completed 5 D-Rank missions, must have had at least 3 rp threads with another person(not missions) that have lasted at least 1000 words and 5 posts a piece, and must have trained all stats to at least D-3.

B rank characters are getting strong.  They are more confident in their movements and techniques.  These characters are allowed to begin applying to become mentors for those under their rank.  They are also allowed to take C rank characters on B rank missions along with them.  Higher ranking characters will begin offering sidekick spots to these ranking members.  B rank members are allowed to take A rank missions as long as an A rank is along with them.

Techniques: 5 D-Rank, 5 C-Rank, 5 B-Rank, 1 A-Rank

Needed to Rank Up: In order to rank from C to B rank, one must have completed 5 C-Rank missions, have at least 8 rp threads with another person(not missions) that have lasted at least 1000 words and 5 posts a piece, must have trained one stat to C-3 and the others to C-1, and must have trained at least at least 2 C-rank techniques.

A rank characters are some of the strongest characters around.  They are serious about what they are doing and have trained their techniques to the point where they can wipe a D rank character with one technique.  These characters are allowed to apply to become Senior Mentors and get first pick of the new recruits to take under their wing.  A rank characters are allowed to take S rank missions as long as an S rank character is along with them.

Techniques: 5 D-Rank, 5 C-Rank, 5 B-Rank, 5 A-Rank, 1 S-Rank

Needed to Rank Up: In order to rank from B to A rank, one must have completed 5 B-Rank missions, have at least 10 rp threads with another person(not missions) that have lasted at least 2000 words and 7 posts a piece, must have trained one stat to B-3 and the others to B-1, must have trained at least 2 B-Rank techniques, and must have defeated at least one B rank(or two C ranks) in battle.

S rank characters are the second strongest characters around.  They have nearly perfected every technique set out before them and have a strong grasp on fighting.  These characters can apply to become a teacher and are responsible for taking the new mentors under their wing and teaching them their new job.  S rank characters are allowed to take SS rank missions on their own.

Techniques: 5 D-Rank, 5 C-Rank, 5 B-Rank, 5 A-Rank, 5 S-Rank, 1 SS-Rank

Needed to Rank Up: In order to rank from A to S rank, one must have completed 10 A-Rank missions, have at least 20 rp threads with another person(not missions) that have lasted at least 3000 words and 8 posts a piece, must have all stats trained to A-3, must have trained at least 3 A-Rank techniques, must have defeated at least three A ranks(or six B ranks) in battle, and must have admin or mod approval.

SS rank characters are few and far between, but are the strongest characters.  They have perfected every technique and are frightening and ruthless in battle.  These characters are placed on a council and make decisions for the academy.  They are responsible for keeping the teachers and mentors in line.  SS rank characters are allowed to register themselves as simulation bosses.

Techniques: 5 D-Rank, 5 C-Rank, 5 B-Rank, 5 A-Rank, 5 S-Rank, 5 SS-Rank

Needed to Rank Up: In order to rank from S to SS rank, one must have completed 20 S-Rank missions, have at least 50 rp threads with another person(not missions) that have lasted at least 5000 words and 10 posts a piece, must have all stats trained to S-3, must have trained at least 3 S-Rank techniques, must have defeated at least three S ranks(or six A ranks) in battle, must have taken a lower rank under their wing as a mentor or teacher at some point, and must have admin or mod approval.
